For Deniz Franke, an Ameriprise private wealth advisor, giving back to her community is instinctive. As soon as she began her career in Des Moines, Iowa in 1988, she started volunteering and contributing funds to various non-profit organizations including the American Heart Association, National Kidney Foundation and Central Iowa Boys & Girls Club.

Her passion for helping disadvantaged young people is one of her greatest, and she has served on the Board of Trustees for the Central Iowa Boys & Girls Club for seven years. One of the organization’s many initiatives is the backpack buddy program, which provides participants with a pack full of food and hygiene products to take home each weekend.
